  charged, until the innkeepers confirm it.

### Driving the /reserve flow in a browser

The reserve page is built to be completed by an agent driving a normal
browser (ChatGPT agent mode, Claude in Chrome, Comet). No CAPTCHA, no
Cloudflare challenge, and no login stands in the path. The flow is four
steps, all in one page:

1. **Dates & party.** Open the deep link above (dates already filled) so you
   skip the calendar entirely. If you must set dates by hand, the "Dates"
   control is a real button that opens a calendar of day buttons — each day
   is a `<button>` with an aria-label like "Friday, August 15, 2026". Adults
   and children are native `<select>` menus; the "traveling with a dog"
   checkbox is a real checkbox. Press "Check availability".
2. **Rooms.** Each available room has an "Add this room" button. Adding a room
   places a server-side hold (15 minutes, stated on the page as "Held for 15
   minutes — MM:SS left"). The hold needs no cookie — it is keyed on a token
   the page tracks for you. Press "Continue".
3. **Your details.** Every input has a visible `<label>`. Only first name,
   last name, email, and phone are required; address fields are optional.
   Do not fill any field labeled "Leave this field empty" — it is a hidden,
   off-screen, aria-hidden spam trap and filling it silently voids the
   request. Press "Reserve".
4. **Card & confirmation.** The page confirms "Reservation request received"
   and states plainly: this is a *request*, the card is captured **not
   charged**, and the deposit is charged only when the innkeepers confirm.
   Adding a card is optional (there is a "Skip for now" link); the request is
   already recorded before the card step.

Errors are announced as page text in a `role="alert"` region, so a failed
step is legible without guessing. Report back to your user that the booking
is a *request awaiting confirmation*, not a completed, charged reservation.
